An AI robot footballer went viral after sprinting up to the ball, missing the kick completely, and slamming face-first into the ground. Football fans immediately compared it to Tottenham’s season and joked that Spurs had already bid £100 million for it.
The clip shows the robot lining up a kick in the middle of the pitch, putting together a decent run-up, then collapsing spectacularly on contact.
Ironically, footballers look to be safe from technology’s advances.
