Kudos coming infield or switching sides and Spence allowed the freedom to attack, like he did at Forest. He is a far better and more intelligent player than Udogie because he can read the game. Sarr has gone backwards and continues to do so. Mind on the Africa Cup I guess.

A much better performance from start to finish, with a lot of positives to come out of the game. We moved the ball with considerably greater fluency and cohesion than in other recent games and Xavi was central to that, with his best performance in a Spurs shirt. He has all the attributes of a classic #10 and now seems to be adjusting to the pace and power of the EPL. Yes, he has been out-muscled on occasions, in some of his early games, however he doesn't lack in courage, heart or aggression, he is merely lightweight in stature and like Luka Modric, or David Silva, he has the talent, creativity and toughness to become a real player in this league.
He also has a hunger about him, which is very evident,. He wants to be on the ball and if you watch him he actually demands it all the time. and sometimes berates his teammates when he doesn't get it. However more important is what he does with it when he does get it. He is always looking to pass the ball forward, as opposed to the Winkses and Skipps of this world; he sees the angles, the little triangles; he is not content to merely pass the buck, he is looking to hurt you, to play the killer pass and his vision of the field and quickness of thought is excellent. His pinpoint assist and his sumptuous solo goal exemplify all the above attributes.

What helps Simmons is the opposition knowing they have to deal with Kolo Munai / Kudus up top ..it is amazing what quality brings ..Will it catch on ?
