As United habitually overpay for players and as Cuti Romero will still prioritise playing for Argentina over his club side, I could care less if he goes to United. I think however he is far more likely to go to La Liga and Atletico or Real Madrid.

Let's sell him to a club abroad. I don't want this guy to get his revenge by breaking the legs of half our players. If Atletico don't want him we can always find a buyer in Italy, AC Milan will have money soon after they sell Leao, Inter are looking for a new centre half to use in their back three with Bastoni and Akanji and Romero would be ideal for that.

Fair point. Not like we're going to be playing Athletico Madrid again anytime soon either is it.

By then he's retired.

As Barry The Baptist said, "he's a fahking liability"

Keith Browning's avatar

He'd be safe at Old Trafford as NO home players are ever sent off or give away penalties.

Surely you mean Arsenal?

Please dear lord, I pray to the sign of the swinging chicken, for Manure to offer us 50m for this guy.

Where exactly is the 200 million from Viagra Joe being spent ….?

Gonville's avatar

Paying off the operating expenses and the money we owe to other clubs

There is no new money for transfers.

Billy Tonsils's avatar

Yep wasn’t marketed like though eh ..we let a worn out dildo run the club and now you lot will have to pay for it one way another . They’re not fit to run a football club..Shysters …

Eddie's avatar

Not fit to run a bath.

Gonville's avatar

It's a total mess. They needed 100m just to stay afloat.

Eddie's avatar

The only reason they would want him is if the plan is to pair him with Martinez his compatriot. He's a bit of a liability as well.

If only we could hybridise the ability and goals of Romero, the pace of VDV and the temperament of Danso. Is Vuscovic the answer?

Billy Tonsils's avatar

Vuskovic I suspect is the answer to Bayern’s dreams and us keeping Palhinha plus a deadbeat from the Deutsche.

Unfortunately Vuskovic seems to be the answer to the question 'how can Spurs raise an extra £50 million out of nowhere this transfer window?'...I have a sinking feeling about that one.

Graham Broach's avatar

Me too. I think he will go to Bayern and be brilliant.

I thought the Lewis'promised a new transfer policy with the funds made available. You're right though, selling Vuskovic would be a huge mistake.

Billy Tonsils's avatar

You’re right Eddie it was a poicy not a policy ..the devil is in the detail.

Thanks Billy.Corrected.
