The position we needed to get a player in the most, an out and out striker. Fail!
Absolutely any centre forward currently playing in the Premier League is better and/or more effective than Richarlison and Solanke. People laughing about Welbeck to Chelsea but he would outscore our two chumps.
We needed to go in early for forwards. At the same time as the other business we did. Why wasn’t that possible? Can’t our recruitment team do more than one thing at a time?
All eggs in one basket with Kroupi and now look where we are.
Oh how we rejoiced that things were different just a few weeks ago. Like all good magicians it’s all smoke and mirrors. And we fell for it like all good chumps do.
That’s the whole point. There are players who imo we should’ve kept and some who came in we should’ve started clear of. Having too many new faces rarely ends well. Ask Sheffield United.
And I think we all knew the gazumping was inevitable. 17th twice, we can't look away from the fact this window has been much better than anticipated. Next step is a better scouting network.
Mudryk is clearly a stop gap until the summer window, when we will go and get somebody else. I hope that we will sign Alex Scott next summer (when he is in his last year of his contract) and a genuine LW, and a Striker.
Anyone is an upgrade on Richy, who still believes he is a footballer. However, I hear the t*** wont flush and he'll be back disrupting things again at Hotspur Way this week.
Mudryk is either another Timo Werner or he could turn out to be good and Chelsea will want to sell him for more than we want to pay...
Either way after a summer of deals that D. Levy would have never considered completing, along come two that he would have been proud of...
The glaringly obvious space that has not been upgraded is centre forward. You can bring in all the tricky, speedy wingers that would get Gerry Francis excited but if there is nobody in the middle to put them away it's all pointless..
Is Mateta available?

Does feel like it was Kroupi or nothing. If (and there is a but with that) we get the lad in January is it worth the wait?
Oh dear how sad never mind springs to
mind.

There’s been approx 30 first team in and outs this window - that’s certainly different!
Whether it’s ‘good’ is the question.

A front three of Mudryk, Savio and Marmoush with Kudus as 10. I can endorse this.
At least we have more pace in attack than just bleedin’ Tel now
There's a direct correlation to former Zerbi teams, this has Brighton's front line of Trossard, March, Mitoma, JP written all over it.
I agree, I think it might be better than we think. I think a lot of people are struggling to deal with the gazumping, rather than Mudryk himself.
And I think we all knew the gazumping was inevitable. 17th twice, we can't look away from the fact this window has been much better than anticipated. Next step is a better scouting network.
The 75m to turn him perm made me smile. He’d need to score 20 goals to make that worthwhile. Sure.

Tbf Madders, Kulu and a few others haven’t had much game time the last year or so. Drugs ban might be better than the injuries.
Does feel there are moments that we’ve got to eat shit, now that we are in the post Levy era.
This smacks of it, so do some of the prices we’ve paid.
Deals with City and Chelsea are good changes going forward for the club. It a change that many may miss.
Hopefully the Savio premium was that eat shit for quarter of a century of Levy bollox by city and Marmoush was the okay let’s move on.
It is potential the best window for a while and really good if these last outgoings get done.
He’s a bit of a punt, but the DeZerbi component does feel it has a little bit of thought, that the levy era clearly didn’t have.
Toisin is a decent CB ..kept us at bay at Fulham often enough.

Back like a homing pidgeon.
He’s this year’s Bissouma…he’ll see out the remnants of his contract.
Levy may have left the building, but his musk lingers - all the clout of a new era, right up to the moment it smells like the old one.
Another window finishing like bargain hunters.
Daniel is sitting at home on deadline day wondering who he can ring and piss off.
This is the stage of the window that would impress Levy - two in from a top 6 rival for an initial £7 million outlay.
He'd love it. It's like they found his playbook sitting in a draw over the weekend.

More than we want to pay?!
We pay the most in the game right now outside of Saudi Arabia, hence the Turks going as far as naming Spurs in their pricing of Osimehn !!!
Did Gerry die in vain?!
