When I look how Kudus has struggled to get back in the groove (he used to glide past players and he has yet to do this once or even look like doing it), does it bode well for Kulu's return? He was never blessed with speed so wasn't reliant on it like Kudus, but still, whatever speed he had will be affected and he's been out longer than most professional athletes, so although it will be good to have him back, will he be able to make any discernible difference?

Even Madders has failed to hit the heights of his first 9 games in a Spurs shirt before he got injured in the infamous Chelsea game. Is having him back going to make us better? I'm not sure with him. His next injury is always a few days away.

Williams-Barnett could have been treated like Dowman. He could easily have been put in the squad and given minutes here and there. Including Jacob Knightbridge in the squad makes little sense. 4 goalkeepers in a 25 man squad is odd. With JJ Gabriel giving it the 'big 'un' at Man Utd and having lost Madueke to PSV, we have to be careful with the young talent. Could Williams-Barnett be worse than Tel? Not a chance.

Deki, when match fit which won't be until December, (if he manages not to get injured again) & then on one of his 'good' days, may be like having a new player!! I hope he gets back to his very best 'cos that was exciting!

“ Roberto De Zerbi says he ‘needs to understand’ when the best opportunity is to include Luca Williams-Barnett in the first team:

"We have to understand when there is the best situation for him and the team also.”

I’ll tell you when. The other night against Liverpool. You decided to put out a second string. Woolwich played two 16 year olds but you seem to think LWB isn’t ready. Garbage. Why give him minutes in pre season then nothing.

Poor management imo. We need someone like LWB who shows no fear. For once we need to make use of the best of the academy otherwise what’s the point of it. Lego head recognises his. What makes you right and him wrong.

I so agree with you. Never have understood why Spurs invest heavily in our youngsters & then fail to let them loose to have a go in the first team. Seems daft.

When there's an International sleepover immediately after your last game , it is imperative to take something encouraging into the break .

Clear signs that our squad is coming to the boil , especially availability , so For Fucks Sake Spurs ,

bring this one home !!!! Tottenham 4 Villa 1 ...................... yes , four , one !!!!
