There is no way I can see this happening. If we had fit for purpose Sporting Director and CEO in place then maybe but Vinai and Lange are incompetent.
Let us pay that someone at Spurs is capable of doing deals for the players required other than just free transfers and new contracts for existing staff.

As I understand it , De Zerbi has stated , on more than one occasion , that if the player does not want to play for the club then he should go elsewhere .
When MGW was flying early last year , I believe Spurs were in pursuit , and he gave strong impression that he was signing for us . Somehow we lost him , but I cant help feeling that we were mightily embarrassed at the time . I know it was presumed that the Forest Chairman played a role in this but I feel MGW was waiting for other Clubs to emerge and beat Spurs to his signature .
All got a little murky then and he re-signed for Forest . Strangely since then I feel his performances , at best , plateaued for them , or more obviously declined .
MGW was ignored by Tuchel - World Cup-wise , maybe confirmation that his form curtailed during the rest of the season .
Anyway , I'm in the Bobby D camp , he had his chance , didn't wanna sign , and for the money they were talking about [ £60 or £70 m ? ] maybe we got away with one ??? I dont think he has 'lit-up' the Prem this last year and may already have peaked ........................ Thanks but no thanks , there are better out there that WANT TO PLAY - and Bobby will find 'em !!!!
MGW had a very good end to the season scoring goals and pushing hard to keep Forest up …The notion that we don’t need a player like MGW or that we expect them to want to play for Spurs is a romantic notion in a brutal business. Fantasy.
Spurs aren’t paying big money for anyone this window anyone worth money already has the interest of other better clubs to contend with and perhaps more importantly have a Chmn and/or board whose motivation is footballing success not redeveloping the local area at the football clubs expense.
