Thursday's transfer tittle tattle
Well, good afternoon to you, in what has become another slow spell in Tottenham Hotspur Football Club's transfer activities.
Middlesbrough have agreed a permanent deal with Tottenham Hotspur for centre-back Ashley Phillips, with an initial £7m fee plus future add-ons (reports indicate the total package could reach around £20m including add-ons, a sell-on clause, and matching rights).
I’m also advised by @RudolfN17 that Jamie Donley is getting interest from League One and the Championship, which is all good news as it surely indicates that the Daniel Levy brand of standing around with our hands in our pockets, occasionally asking. ‘Any of ‘em turned into a bomba, yet?’ may well be over.
