Top insider: "Tottenham are advancing in talks" with EPL side
Kwasi Senyah is said to be a highly rated 16-year-old (born 21 February 2010) defensive midfielder currently at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ youth setup, according to top Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe.
O’Keefe said:
“Spurs advancing on a deal for Kwasi Senyah. Highly rated defensive midfielder currently playing for the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth.”
As with most, if not all, of these kids, information is understandably scarce.
Kwasi joined Wolves from Coventry City in 2024, beating competition from other Premier League academies. The youth is a regular England U16 call-up, with multiple caps, including recent squads alongside other talents.
He’s seen as one for the future with strong physicality and maturity for his age. Tottenham’s academy has been active in recruiting young English talents, so this fits their strategy.
Elsewhere, there’s talk of Everton's interest in Djed Spence.
Sky Sports is reporting a possible exit
According to Sky Sports News, Everton have discussed the 25-year-old England international internally as an option to strengthen their right-back position. The Athletic also reports this interest, noting he’s one of several targets alongside Arsenal’s Ben White and Strasbourg’s Guela Doué.
Djed Spence is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur until June 30, 2029. With 3 years left on his deal at the time of the latest reports, Tottenham are under no immediate pressure to sell, which could make any move to Everton (or anywhere else) relatively expensive.
This long-term security strengthens Spence’s position at Spurs but doesn’t rule out a transfer if the price is right.
Personally, I’d sell him tomorrow, simply because I am struggling to see how his value is going to explode anytime soon.
Does Spence have a future at Tottenham?
This is the real problem: he’s currently staring at leftovers. What is his ceiling, and how long do we have to wait for him to find it?
My lack of enthusiasm for the kid is not due to some weird prejudice; I just don’t believe him to be an exceptional footballer.
