This comes from a source close to the club and isn't published without context, so please read on, as I would be deeply saddened to see anyone daft enough to start pulling this piece apart based on the first few paragraphs alone.
It sounds to me like pure ENIC. Forget old or new; these are the words of people with no conscience.
The Italian is ungrateful. That’s the message.

Fabian Hürzeler was another name seriously considered. Things can change very quickly at football clubs. Particularly when people start talking too much.”
For me, any messaging from within the club needs to be treated with an intelligent suspicion. The fact that there’s no proper striker on the premises is the hand of cards that beats all others in this game.
Customers who feel shortchanged have a right to moan. Gold My Beer’s enterprise, Reach PLC, spent the last decade publishing incomprehensible and otherwise misleading articles, which were saturated with aggressive advertising, then sacked everybody who composed them on Reach’s instruction, blaming ‘AI’.
Whilst I appreciate managers gotta manage, patience is not just a virtue when dealing with a business owner as horrific as ENIC has proven itself to be.
Nobody in their right mind believes that De Zerbi is on the big bucks, so he has to sort it out. Indeed, we can file that insight neatly next to Jamie Redknapp’s ‘this is a team full of international footballers’ remarks.
The issues at Spurs are endemic and the work of a quarter of a century of ENIC masterclasses in hoodwinkery.
If Roberto is saying things which are angering people, I suggest we listen to him, because I can think of any number of scenarios whereby ENIC could have been facing civil disorder for any number of the stunts ENIC have pulled during their mediocre tenure.
The club is dreadfully fragile; it has systematically recruited badly, and the LinkedIn clowns on the Executive have proven themselves to be entirely useless.
If ENIC believe they should have acted more hesitantly, the alarm bells are deafening. If you ned to, read the following sentence a few times, perhaps out loud, if need be.

Yes, but the true narrative here is that RDZ, out of all the managers who could and should have been backed, is the only one who actually has been. So the narrative has perceptibly changed. In fact it could be argued, correctly, that RDZ has been given too much power and his whims over-indulged, to the point where his personal selections have been overpaid for and are highly dubious choices in several cases. I am not buying any excuses from De Zerbi. These are his players and his team. If they are not fit or are under-performing, then it is down to him. He has been very quick to pass the buck, come up with one pathetic excuse after another and throw players under the bus. I have no sympathy for him. He lied about Palhinha and didn't sign him, which was both dishonest and extraordinarily imperceptive on his part. He has thrown money at one player after another with scant regard for their current form or suitability for the task at hand.
Tonali was banned for a year for illegal betting. Newcastle stood by him, but he was happy to dump them at the first opportunity. I wouldn't have touched him with a bargepole. Low moral character and total unsuitable to be the flagship signing for the rebuilding of the club. Savio is equally an inexplicable signing. A lightweight, with no form in two years at City and nary a goal in sight. I like Van Hecke a lot and have no problem with Marmoush. Fernandes was grossly overpaid for, but is a quality young player in my opinion and will come good. The main problem with the team is weak mentally, it lacks identity and character and it is devoid of leaders. Palhinha was the obvious exception. There are/were players out there who are leaders, who give 100%, who never take a backward step. Morgan Gibbs-White, of Forest, Ethan Ampadu of Leeds. Hard players with a nasty streak like Brobbey or Konsa at Villa. Creative players who aren't made of glass, e.g. Scott of Bournemouth.
The priority should have been to change the culture and the mentality of the team, much more important than marginally elevating its talent level. We had the opportunity to buy some real 'team players' and forge a team that played for each other and played with an edge. That had character, that had some real backbone. In my opinion we've blown it and collectively De Zerbi, Lange and Sham have overseen a botched job, showing a total ineptitude for team building and creating the right culture for a genuine renaissance of the club. RDZ will not last until Christmas at this rate and Mutt and Sham need to be booted out of the club. Get some fucking pros in who know how to build a football club and a team, with high character players. It's not rocket science, just professional competence. Something Levy repeatedly overlooked in his desire to be surrounded by fawning yes men and arse-kissers. ENIC have one more chance, they can't afford to balls it up again.
Bottom in 5 ..I’m a celebrity get me out of here… .Id listen to DeZerbi as well ..no proven goal scorer ..should have been 2 up yesterday . Most of the players were highly regarded ..until they came to Spurs ..we are cursed by 55/65 mil last minute punts ..Solanke is proving a better defender than forward. ..and he is woeful at both.
Spurs net spend was 145 mil …not that much considering Spurs have finished 17 th two seasons running. Of course to fund the big signings lots of our decent youth were sold.
I’ve written this before ..Spurs swing wildly from idea to idea ..focus on youth to the focus on senior players ..nothing much in between. This is not healthy there isn’t a consistent thought running through the football club because no one in the hierarchy knows how to run a football club. Poch has signed a new contract with the USA until 2030… I don’t want him back ..he isn’t young and enthusiastic anymore . He may well be heralded as the Messiah..if Spurs can afford the enormous buy out …he cannot fix this the quest for European football and more revenue blinds everything at Spurs ..like the fact we are piss poor.
There are new versions of Poch in the epl the board at Spurs are just too thick and entitled to notice them this is because no one knows what they are doing .
DeZerbi was one of the only recognised coaches in world football that would take the job…following on after ..Igor Tudor…the latter being further proof the club does not know what it is doing .
When THFC decided to be a global brand with a massive entertainment complex to promote ..bar not getting an NFL London Franchise and no naming rights( Levy) ..everything else has gone very well…huge numbers of people are aware of THS..sadly less are interested in the football.
The club are in trouble because a meglomaniac dwarf dildo was given free reign by the same people who own the club now. …now the belief money will sort it out , that a new coach will sort it out …is further proof the club doesn’t know what is it doing.
When the Odious Shit only bought Moura over 3 windows and we were at peak Poch the footballing world became instantly aware Spurs are not a serious footballing entity .This has plagued Spurs since then .
Bar a proper striker what the club need is spirit cohones and less broken players …but until football is the priority at Spurs with proven successful football people in charge nothing will change .
Spurs change coaches like a whore changes her knickers ..it makes no difference ..the demographic in the ground has changed with people renting out their STs ..there is barely a community of Spurs fans ..because people can’t be arsed .
