It will be yet another mistake letting Danso go. I genuinely think he’s better than VDV in the CH role. I’d play VDV in his more natural LB position and partner Danso with Van Hecke.
I said in the previous blog. Time is needed to gel 8/9 new players. Getting rid of Richarlason who we should never have brought in the first place is a good move. Solanke should only ever be a back up such is his penchant for the treatment table.
There were positive signs of improvement yesterday. Yes the defeat is hard to take. Having players out because they’re not fit or have muscle fatigue is ridiculous and needs to be stopped immediately. Get rid. of that nonsense and stop pandering then things will improve.
