The Donald was, of course, on the podium along with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other dignitaries, including Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum and Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney, to present runners-up medals to Argentina.
This “adulation” of the “Dark Arts” has got to stop. The Argies ( Bunch of Cowardly Surrender Monkeys) are just typical playground bully’s , and like all bully’s they work better in a mob. But, there’s always someone bigger, and nastier. Romero ( I simply refuse to call him Cu-ti) is a classic example. This berk would’ve lasted five seconds in the “Battle of the Bridge” and I’ll never forget Eric Dier, towering over that Rent Boy asswipe Costa, wanting to rip his head off. Argentina and once again FIFA have amiably demonstrated what a corrupt bunch of cnuts they really are.
I genuinely hope Romero doesn’t set foot in our club again. IF he does, I for one will wear my Class of 82 shirts, and give him some real shit.
He is devoid of class. Something that Ossie and Ricky have in spades. COYY
Frankly I could care less whether Romero deliberately snubbed Trump or not. Trump evidently thought it was fine to ... a) Break FIFA disciplinary rules and protocols to egregiously lobby the president of FIFA for the reinstatement of a US player who had been correctly given a one game suspension for a red card ... b) Endorsed Argentina's overtly political gesture in support of their delusional claims to a group of islands they have never even owned, let alone governed, again in flagrant contravention of FIFA rules. Consequently the freedom of expression guaranteed under the First Amendment, being exercised by Cuti Romero, in ignoring the narcissistic, egomaniacal, orange tinted wind-bag, seems entirely apropos!
It's interesting that it all went quiet about the Malvinas demo. That was a blatant violation of FIFa rules regarding political slogans.Infantino certainly wasn't going to get involved just prior to the final especially as Trump predictably got involved.
My guess is FIFA will delay any punishment for as long as possible, for most people to forget the incident and it will be minimal, possibly small fines for the Argentina Football Federation or one or two players hit with a one international match ban.
They've already fined them at least once for this shit, 20k pounds in 2014 for the same banner, so expect that to be the most that will happen if anything. I've got a vague memory they were made to play behind closed doors at least once, but I could be be mistaken.
Dont think it will be too long before the Argies see the complete fucking nonsense that has made them look foolish in the eyes of the World .
I remember clearly , in 1966 , the Captain of Argentina [ Rattin I believe ] sent off , against us , and his refusal to leave the pitch . It does appear that "it is in the DNA " . That was atrocious then , but this outrage was way beyond that and surely they will live to regret .
I'd like to think Messi was faultless , but it is obvious that it happens all around him , yet he portrays himself 'the innocent man' . His legacy has taken a major blow , shame on you Lionel . And as for his "grassing up " of Cucurella for mouth-masking , I'll never forgive , little cunt .
I don't think it was intentional. Cuti doesn't exactly strike me as the woke type or someone who just needs to snub a president for whatever reason. Fake news.
The real news is that he's leaving and the plan to reinvest the $$$.
I have to be honest, after the match, and particularly after they went a goal down, the more they kicked off, the more I enjoyed it. The stuff at the end was hilarious. Loved every minute of it.
It was good to see them hurt.
My beef is with Tuchel. Argentina were there for the taking, and we played Dan Burn upfront.
Still think Spain would have beaten us - the best team in the tournament won it - but would have been nice to try.
As I’ve said before, they’re just juvenile little pricks. A lot of their supporters are idiots too, and fully endorse their nasty, petty nature. Nothing to like at all, fucking embarrassing…
Romero that is. I genuinely dislike the guy. Yeah he’s popped in a few important goals for us. But in general he’s a wanker.
I’ve no problem with the dark arts. I’m quite the exponent of them myself. It’s part of football. Some are more subtle at dishing it out than others. Sth American teams have done it for as long as I can remember.
Romero however decided to politicise things. Forgetting of course the flag his dad raised was white. He shouldn’t be welcomed back he should be sold on at the earliest opportunity. He most certainly should never wear our Captain’s armband again.
Sorry, after the shitshow they put on this morning with the 3 yrs old's response to losing, all tantrums and sulks, they've lost any grounds they might have had for people to take notice of their 'feelings'. Bunch of arrogant twats...
Referees are far too lenient on the 'dark arts', Paredes should have had about 3 yellows. There was an initial tackle by MacAllister that should have been a booking, and wasn't. Had the Ref been strong and booked him then, the rest of it would have calmed down. Because he got away with it, they all joined in. They do it every match.
The first foul is not a test for the opposition, it is a test of the referee.
Have we sold Romero yet? I don't want him at the club.

Fucking thugs the lot of them and a disgrace to the badge.[See my comment above]
You sound like a snowflake

Yeah a massive wasted opportunity, I was counting down those last minutes but we choose to pussy it .
We blew it, we should’ve knocked them out and pretty sure we would have had we not sat in like that. They were there for the taking…

We’ve finished 17th twice with this guy in our back four, and as skipper last season. What does he bring as a team player? Nothing…
I was going to say, I don't think Simon is that bad.
Why is it a shock,he's blanked his own Spurs fans for some time now.Get rid.

Paredes and Simeone are barely football players- they were brought on just to wind up the Spanish who didn’t bite.
Can’t wait to see Paredes get two-footed at the next Superclasico if not sooner.
As a group that is so, but not everyone in the group behaved in that fashion.
I didn't notice anyone not turning their back on the Spanish team, even Messi joined in. No excuses for any of them, it's in the DNA.
Yeah fuck em all , in fact any argie bellend I meet is gonna get a hard time from me . I’m gonna search the cunts out on the courts I play .
Bunch of cunts the lot of them.
Perfect summation
Thank you kind sir...
