Ange Postecoglou has strong ties to Scottish football from his successful Celtic spell, where he collected multiple trophies, including stopping Rangers’ dominance, but he’s been out of work since leaving Nottingham Forest and has been doing punditry on ITV during the World Cup.

The Forest job made no sense and had disaster written all over it before Ange took it. An ultra defensive team taken over by an attacking manager without any pre season. What could possibly go wrong. Forest actually played quite well in some of the the games, but results matter, as it does with all managers.
I hope Ange does get the Scotland job and relegates them to the same Nations League that Bhutan are in (I know they're not in it!). Scotland only qualified for the Euros and World because the competitions were expanded. Let's not kid ourselves into thinking they were any good.
