Looks a quality player from what I've seen and I believe stats back that up.

There's another talent from Argentina we should have a look at, Giovanni Baroni. He turns 18 in January so we would have to get him on a pre-contract. Current market value is 2.5 million euros and since he plays for a team that is not River or Boca I think we can get him on the cheap, less than 10 mill. One for the future and very similar to Nico Paz, also better than the Quintero twins who are both going to Arse. When he arrives in January we'll loan him out to Westerlo as we did with Vuskovic.

Good stuff BT.My only doubt is that this is not a priority for RDZ at the moment. But this sort of planning for the future should be on the agenda.

Exactly, this wouldn't be my priority either, but they keep saying we're a big club so maybe start acting like one. Real have always seized the best talents from SA historically, but this is changing with especially Chelsea and Dortmund. Instead of getting one Odobert we can get three good talents for less. Chelsea got Kendry Paez for less than 10 mill. I don't know how good he'll become eventually, but I know he's more talented than the crap we have.

Would be great, but I don't think he's coming. We had the chance to sign him directly from Real before he went to Como when I first started raving about him. Como are in the CL next season and he has said he wants to stay despite the fact everyone took it for granted he would return to Real, myself included. It's likely he will stay there unless a big club that hasn't faded into obsurity can change his mind. We can rule out Spurs! Of course I hope I'm wrong, but maybe we should focus on more realistic targets. We can get Luciano Valente for around 40 mill, it's an absolute no-brainer. I think we can get Kang-in Lee cheaper than most would anticipate, but he would require significant wages. We can also get young striker Alvaro Rodriguez who also has a sell-on clause with Real. That deal would be much easier to pull off and I'm fairly confident he's just as talented as Nico Paz, if not a little more.

I agree it’s very doubtful, and of course Real Madrid have first dibs on him and I’ve read they’re very keen to take him back. However that was before Mourinho was appointed. With all the talk about our spending money on much needed reinforcements,AMF players have yet to be identified it seems. This area and all along the front line is where we must improve.

There are several good options out there. Gustavo Sa and Javi Guerra would fit into Zerbi's system. I wouldn't mind Matt O'Riley, think he's underrated and he scores goals from midfield. This idea that it's difficult to get good prospects is complete bullshit.

Didn't O"Reilly end his loan spell at Marseille early? It seems strange then that RDZ is quoted as sying he would like him at Spurs.Maybe that was interference from above that helped towards his deprture as manager. It did go rather tits up very quickly.
