I said it before, if the Spurs squad were characters from TV shows then Vicario would be the hugely unlikeable, whining and preening, strictly 'Beta energy' The Deep from The Boys.
If you remember his first game v Bretford, Vicario was awful and he did well to stay on the pitch after a borderline assault on Shade (I think). He got slightly better for a month or two, but there were far too many occasions where he was to blame for ridiculous errors. In this new age of sweeper keepers, Vicario was the worst goalkeeper I have ever seen with a ball at his feet. Amazing how Fraser Forster was second worst! Vicario also got bullied at corners and he shrunk into his shell instead of fighting back.
Vicario only ever shouted at the young lads when they made mistakes, that isn't leadership. I remember him giving Bergvall an absolute dressing down on the pitch, but 5 minutes later he kept quiet when Romero made a mistake. HH has stated it correctly before, Vicario was a bully. The level of hypocrisy he has consistently shown demonstrates what sort of man he is. He wont be missed in any way. I'd commission a statue to be built of him, out of butter, so he can melt away, like he did on corners.
If anyone at WHL had bothered to watch his original showreel, they would have noticed that not once did he catch the ball - the sort of antidote to Pat Jennings.
Are you sure you’re not reading to much into it? He probably is reading some sort of self help book and got carried away.
Seems like the ‘interest’ in him and Romero seems to have gone quiet. Looks like we are stuck with them
I'm surprised with Romero, thought there'd be some solid interest, he's playing well enough at the World Cup.
Maybe when he’s back he’ll go. Not sure Athletico want him as much anymore
I'd take one of Pat Jennings hands over two of Vicario's all lifetime long!

I think the only person who loved Vicario was Vicario.
He was a Levy Temu Raya option.
